The Crystal System Group Ltd. – Google Cloud Success Story in Data Analytics:

Crystal System Group is the leading partner for building single source of truth platforms for all available industrial data within large and extra-large organizations. Crystal System Group Ltd. is a recognized Google Cloude Data & Analytics specialist and connects data from shop-floor to top-floor. Data Capture is gained from the distributed sensor network in an Industry 4.0 compliant environment with “digital ready” production assets and machineries. Data Ingestion is followed by using the Google Clouds advanced technologies like Dataflow. Case by case data get enriched and aggregated and will be transferred in BigQuery. For machine learning Google’s TensorFlow is used to build a smart factory.

Practical Examples of our Work are:

  • Building an Enterprise Data Platform for Industrial Data Management “IDM” based on the Industry 4.0 concept in the automotive manufacturing sector. Crystal connects Operations Technology with Information Technologies
  • Building Entity Tracking Applications using Industrial Data generated by Operations Technologies “OT” and utilize this data with Information Technologies “IT” to track raw materials movement, semi- and finished product movements and tracking manufactured vehicles from the exit of their production line towards the handover to distribution logistics.
  • Educate, Re- and Up-Skill: Beside of its outstanding Specialization in Data Analytics in Google Cloud Crystal System Group also shares its knowledge via Crystal Talent Solutions within its Educational Programs at public universities to ensure that todays technology can be handled and managed by the Talents of today in the future. Beside of the university program is also at service when it comes to re- and up-skill your existing labor force by offering customized courses tailored to your needs. With regard to Industrial Data Management and Industry 4.0 Crystal Talent Solutions implemented a didactic Cyber Physical Factory at the University of POLITEHNICA Bucharest and a corresponding digital twin at the university of Pitesti to teach, research and develop new processes and technologies for distributed manufacturing facilities.

For this we are using Google Cloud as central Data Platform to collect and process data to get ready for data consumption, e.g., optimizing energy consumption, reducing CO2 footprints etc. illustrated by the images below.
